Katy studied Sports Therapy at university, allowing her to combine her love for movement with an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and injury rehabilitation. She works alongside the physiotherapists here at Ten to bring you through that final stage of recovery so that you can return to training safely and efficiently. Katy is a huge believer that exercise shouldn’t feel like a chore and loves building people’s confidence by tailoring to individual’s needs, personalities, and exercise preferences.
Since graduating, Katy has found her specialism within women’s health, particularly working with pre and postnatal individuals. Taking on the ‘circle of care’ approach, Katy can combine massage and exercise-based services to give you a well-rounded treatment plan. Katy led the introduction of scar massage as a service at Ten and specialises in C-Sections and abdominal surgeries. This is the perfect combination alongside 1-1 exercise to help to restore core connection and pelvic floor strength following pregnancy.
