Favourite things to treat:
Feisal likes treating knees, ankles, headaches and vertigo
Feisal recently moved to London from Perth, Australia where he graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2017.
His journey began working in private practices across his hometown of Perth, where he saw a wide range of clientele including but not limited to high performance athletes, post-surgical orthopaedic patients and the elderly.
Over the last few years, Feisal has worked as the head physiotherapist in football, AFL and rugby clubs, at youth and senior level, which ranged from amateur to elite levels. His exposure to playing, coaching and providing physiotherapy in sports has shaped his clinical interests.
Feisal’s passion for sports led to him having further training in the management of tendinopathies and sporting hip and knee injuries. This includes surgical and non-surgical management of hip and knee trauma, and tendon injury which are a common occurrence in an active population.
In 2023 and 2024, Feisal also sought further training in occupational physiotherapy and has worked onsite at large industrial sites across Perth. His time in pharmaceutical labs, steel manufacturing factories and packaging and recycling sites has broadened his scope in managing manual handling injuries, workplace physical safety and ergonomics.
Feisal believes that patient centered care is of the utmost importance across all these different cases. He empowers clients through collaborative goal-setting, education and encouragement to allow them to eventually independently manage their own condition; with a physiotherapy helping hand along the way.
In his free time, you will find Feisal at the beach (in a warmer climate) or planning his next hiking holiday. He also plays football regularly and barracks for Arsenal football club, which is an ongoing source of happiness (and sometimes sadness) for him.
