Mon 25 November | 4:00pm | Beginners - Dynamic Reformer Pilates No prior experience is necessary for this class; a basic level of fitness is helpful but not essential. Clients are introduced to the equipment, techniques and some basic exercises. Recommended as your first class with Ten or for those of you who would like to practice at a gentler pace - though it's still more than enough of a workout to get those all important endorphins going. | Julia Harrison Originally from South Africa, Julia completed her degree in Sport Science and Honours degree in Biokinetics. Julia believes that movement is medicine, and aims to help people improve their physical functioning and health through exercise as a modality.
Julia’s experience varies from orthopaedic injury rehabilitation to working with chronic, neurological and respiratory conditions through clinical exercise. Julia has developed her passion for Pilates over the past few years and believes that it is a valuable tool and incorporates it into patient rehabilitation. As an avid long-distance runner and sports lover, Julia has a passion for strength and fitness and through previous past injuries, highlights the importance of the effects that exercise and strength training can have on the body.
Julia is a patient, kind and humble individual who gives off a positive outlook on life and has a passion for helping people reach their personal goals whether big or small. Julia helps individuals living with chronic illness to improve their quality of life and prevent their conditions from worsening.
